Genuine home style Southern cooking at a small town crossroads. Hospitality you could expect from family that love you with food. Skip the fast food off the exit and drive a couple miles further for a good meal with good folks.
Agree with the service time but this is a sit-down restaurant and not a fast food joint. Took 16min for food to arrive, had hamburger steak, green beans, macaroni, mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh, and piece of coconut cake. Highly recommend hamburger steak. Was hot and seemed like it just came off grill and not just warmed up like some places. Would agree, prices are a'bit for portions but I'll take quality over quantity any day. Will return, has a lot on menu for just about anyone. Convenient location off 85 which is a bonus.
Wonderful food and the most friendly waitresses!!! Thanks for now being open on Saturdays and Sunday! Sunday lunch was fabulous.!!
Came from Charlotte and met friends coming from Greenville. The waitress and staff were all SUPER NICE. I do agree it took a bit longer than I am accustomed to receive the food, maybe 35 minutes, but the food was delicious and the portions were way bigger than other posts suggested. My wife and I each brought home leftovers. They also had a woman playing live music which was totally unexpected. All in all, a very favorable experience and worth the stop! The prices were definitely reasonable as well
